New York City's lesbian telephone hot lines kept meticulous logs of every single phone call that they made on every single volunteer shift. The cost of paper has gone down quite a bit by the 19 seventies, and by the 19 eighties, people start to have more ready access to printers at their work places or even moving into the late eighties and early nineties,. So there's more of an ability to print and keep things. And that's a kind of interesting technical change, an economic change, that also affects and shapes community archives to day and what's in them.
