Introduction
For decades, india's farmers have been struggling to survive. More than half of the country's farmers are in serious, serious debt. The slow collapse of a system that so many people rely on has fuelled a national suicide crisis. On sunday last week, long drawn out tensions reached this boiling point when a convoy of cars drove into a group of protesters. They retaliated, and when the dust cleared, including four farmers, were dead.
