#638: Today we're sitting down with actress, writer, photographer, and director, Tommy Dorfman. Tommy graduated with a degree in acting from Fordham University in 2015. First known for her role as Ryan Shaver on 13 Reasons Why, Tommy has since worked in television, film, and theater - recently starring in Jeremy O. Harris' hit play Daddy at The Signature. In this episode Tommy shares here experience as a trans person and we discuss all things trans rights and perspectives. We dive into how to have an impactful conversation surrounding the LGBTQ community, how to be an ally and ask questions, and what people can do to support the trans community.
