The Reaction of God to the Israelites

Moses responded by falling on his face and praying that God would not do that. He said, when one man sins, will you be angry with the entire congregation? So he's kind of making a mosaic argument that based upon God's name and character, he cannot act this way because to act this way would be unjust. Moses doesn't even speak to God. He speaks directly to his brother Aaron, he says, take your sensor and get some fire on it from the altar and put some incense on it. And then take it out and hurry up to the congregation and make a tomement for themBecause wrath has gone forth from the from the Lord and the plague has begun.
