But if we actually zoom out and look at the attack from a purely strategical point of view, it didn't really matter all that much. If anything, only supercharged the american war machine with an unprecedented desire for revenge. And therefore there is an argument that, ly, i make the argument that japanese could have achieved their aims in the second world war without involving America.
