The California Nurses Union Strike Against Unsafe Staffing

The california state staffing law has been a resounding, resounding success for patients and nurses. The domday scenarios that the hospital industry fearmongered about have not come to pass. Orinds within the state not only returned to the bedside, but the ratios attracted nurses from across the country who appreciated being able to practise nursing under a safe working environment. And like i mentioned before, increasingly safe staff legislation is being introduced in state legislatures across the country - usually nurses unions are leading the effort. Left candidates should make this a corps part of their platform, and left elected should be out front as the main champions of it.
