The SOE and the War on Occupied France
There are 39 women who were sent into occupied France they are the F section SOE women and a number of them were WAF as well so they're sent to annoy the Germans in Paris and in France they very much do. There's a couple of them particularly that are my favourites nor in Yak Khan is a name a lot of us are coming to know and I'm so glad about that because for decades nobody did. Pearl Witherington initially joined the SOE because her fiance Henry had been captured and was in a POW camp and she thought if I pop over as a clandestine agent I can break him out. Ultimately Pearl and Henry end up in charge of a unit of French resistance soldiers
