Women's Rights in Iran

Iran's first anti-Hijab protests were held only 25 days after the revolution. Five years later, it became compulsory to wear a hijab and a special police unit was formed in order to enforce the country's new moral code. Rana Rahimbor reflects on how restrictions on women have evolved since the Iranian Revolution of 1979. She also looks back at her own experience growing up in Tehran.
