What's the Concept of Whiteness?
Most ancient greek and roman er societies and artists, they coloured their marbles. And i think that when europeans started rediscovering these monuments and sculptures in the sixteenth century, they presumed they had always been plain. This developed a taste in modern europe for this particular kind of austerity and purity. I think decadent purple should come back anvagindly.
