Industry super funds are the outright winners in the super system. The funds have thrived on the back of a simple law - every worker must put one dollar in ten they make into super. Yet, surveys show Australians are not just unsure about super, they are unsure about every aspect of investing and finance. The Ecstra foundation, Australia's best known financial literacy agency, exists on the back of irregular payments based on regulator fines. But the fund is making great progress kickstarting financial literacy in our schools.
