How Different Was the Experience of the English Peasants From Those in Europe?

Dr Graham Goring wants to know how different was the experience of medieval English peasants from counterparts elsewhere in Europe. He says there's a sort of generic similarity throughout Europe. One, perhaps big difference within England is that you find that the peasants of say the Midlands, the South and North have quite large holdings of land by the standards of their time. But if you look at Europe, it does, you find that same disparity, but I mean, there's a very great concentration of small holding people in what is now Belgium and The Netherlands.
