Historicism is a way of looking at the book revelation historically, where it's not just a generic battle between good and evil but one that finds fulfilment in the church. Nearly every major reformer, from wiccliffe, luther, calvin, john knox, edwards, wesley, all these guys had some sort of version of historicism.
