How to Approach a Tumor Board

The adrenal is somewhat of a chemo-resistant organ, probably to do with the hormonal stimulation of tumors within the adrenal and also to do with its unique kind of blood supply. A lot of those come to a board. They come from other folks who found out that I do adrenal ablations, and so they send them to me. The first person to give me a patient actually was the surgeon. He had already resected one lobe of the man's lung for lung cancer. And the man had another as is off in the case.
