I Don't Want the Rail Strike for Anybody's Sake

As many as 765,000 Americans might be put out of work in just the first two weeks of a rail strike. This stoppage could cost the US economy, according to estimates, more than $2 billion and lost output per day. The average employee would get an immediate payout of 11 grand if the deal is ratified. And then eight of the unions have signed off on an agreement, which would give workers a 24% raise $5,000 in bonuses retroactive to 2020. So let's see what happens in the end. I believe Congress must use its powers to adopt this deal.
