In the book of second samuel, it says that david is entering more and more into battle. And there's something so powerful about him still willing to go into battle. He has to come face to face with the fact that he's not the man he was. We can only do what we can do, and i can't do what i can’t do. That's all god expects of us. But without him, as we heard way back when in the gospel of john, without him, we can do nothing.
