Is Automation a Part of the Solution?
I think automation is a partial solution to the problem but it's a partial and subordinate one. There are many forms of necessary labor that probably would get automated if we already lived in a democratic and socialist society. Automation gets rid of some labor and creates new new labor continuously. We have an infinite number of needs that can be satisfied by machines.
