The Differences Between King James Versions and Other Versions

There's a lot of disparity over whether you should use the word church for the Greek ecclesia. Some Protestants are affirming very strongly that you should use a word like gathering or meeting to avoid seeming to imply the Roman Catholic church by using the word church. Also terms for church officers like bishops and priests and deacons vary in different translations, often in line with the beliefs of the people who produce the translation. And I suppose the fact that these different versions reflect the concerns and the emphasis of the particular cultures and societies in which they were created too.
