The Roswell Incident

The Roswell incident became a crutch for conspiracy theorists and, in particular, extraterrestrial enthusiasts. The government claimed the object was a weather balloon when they found themselves in a pickle. A declassified report later claimed it was a balloon for nuclear test monitoring. Was the government covering up a secret project? Or had they perhaps actually found a flying saucer and had proof that aliens really existed?
