The Differential Diagnosis of Proximate Third Tibio Shaft Fractures

Presentation of proximate third tibio shaft fractures. Symptoms include pain and inability to bear weight. On physical exam, spection may reveal contusions, blisters, open wounds. Non operative management includes close reduction slash casto mobilization. This is indicated for closed, low energy fractures with acceptable alignment.
