The only years Weaver's Orioles lacked consistent power were from 1972 to 1974 after Frank Robinson had been traded away. These guys could make the three run home run happen with some measure of frequency. You can't know when the next home run trend is going to happen. That's why I love a weaver. He made it cool to try and win the big game with one swing.
