The Prince of the Plains
Prince Dobertec thought of what the talking skull had said. The best thing he could do was wander out to the wastes and hope he would just collapse. He decided that he would crawl into a hole so dark that no one would ever learn what became of him. But lightning struck right before him, and a golden shimmering horse stood there with smoke coming from its nostrils. Prince Dobertec told the horse that if he was ready, they had a princess to save. They had to get something. A sword, the only one able to kill their enemy, and it was guarded by his brother.
