Gas Prices and Consumer Inflation Expectations

Consumer expectations for inflation have moved in parallel with gas prices. What consumers expect will affect how they vote at the poles when they get there in november. It'll be interesting to see whether the hat, whether the c p i numbers, or some of the other bad inflation news, is going to shift consumer expectations in a material way. We're stronger now than we've ever been, at least in a well over generation. Child poverty now at record lows. The supply chain problems are improving. But then inflation and and it's really impacting americans livesspecially working class and middle class America.
