The Importance of Ideology in American History
I generally agree with you, right, that there are a lot of bad things happening in the United States. But I am not trying to carry water for Republicans or Democrats here. Liberalism and progressivism is almost never to blame for any bad things that happen in America. And part of my problem with FDR's talk about the 1920s, my problem with the way people like if you read some books about Woodrow Wilson, when all the bad stuff starts happening, Woodrow Wilson just sort of disappears into a hedge like Homer Simpson is like not part of the story.
