Heddie's Life and Times

Heddie just grew up-grewled to love slop. She hardly ever cleaned her clothes. Her kids went to school in rags. In the winter, she lined her son's jacket and shoes with paper. When her son Ned was nine, he injured himself while sledding. Heady did not want him to take him to a regular doctor because it would cost so much money. Of course not. So she took him to a free clinic for the poor. The shopkeepers of New Bedford hated her because her filthy hands would touch their goods and ruin them. Ugh. Why isn't she washing her hand? Because she's a fucking monster, I don't know
