Fern: We're seeing a huge shift in that I think everyone welcomes is recovering LGBTQA stories from the archive. Charlie Wilson, born a woman by 16 realized that this was not who they were and that they needed to live a very, very different life. Fern: Instead of being demonized, which is what today's society would certainly believe that's how they would be treated by the people of their time, they were celebrated.
