The Origins of DSTHA
DSTHA, the company we work for, originally it stood stands for the initials of the founding directors, say Debra Sorn, David Hill's architects. We were very conscious that this co-design research could only really exist in dialogue with others so we reached out to different practitioners in the public sector and private sector. With every project we always look beyond the client brief, beyond the kind of the boundaries of a site and to consider the wider social, cultural and environmental implications for the stuff we do. The term spatial justice was intended to capture the potential for our work to engage with but also at the same time I guess we recognised the kind of complicity of what you know we do
