i found this title, the knights of the scissors, to be superinteresting. This is really all about compiling news. When i was actually looking at eighteenth and nineteenth century newspapers, a lot stories worked were reappearing in other newspapers. And so they're ending write, their editing and their re purposing content that's in circulation. By the middle of the nineteenth century, the image of the scissors editor becomes probably the single most common way of describing journalistic work.
