How to Bring the Average Person In

When we give talks, you know, I'll bring up very specific examples that hit home. The vast majority of people think they're better looking than average or better drivers than average. And so these sort of biases and then the example I often give when I'm talking about money is that the very real feelings you have when you're making money and losing money can resonate with this. Now it's only people that have been through it. But once you realize that you can be irrational and realize there's things you can do to take advantage of that also and or at least keep yourself from making really dumb decisions, probably the biggest first step in investing.
