How to Create a Lookup Table for Your Film
A lookup table is essentially a rough version of what the color corrects will be that is just previewed on the monitor. It's not actually baked into the footage. And it helps you dial them in because if you ever look at what we've been calling a log image or a flat image, it's like very low contrast and often just desaturated colors. So they developed lots, which I think now most monitors can handle a lot in the monitor.
