Multiple hereditary exostosis is an autozoma dominant condition caused by mutations in e x t one, e x t two and e x t three genes. The most common malignant transformation for osta condromas is into condrosar comas. Secondary condra sarcomas are typically low grade and can be treated by surgery alone with a good prognosis. Jager at all performed a prospective case series on 52 patients with multiple hereditary x astoses to see if there was a correlation between genotype and penotype.
