Is This What the President Might Be Doing?

A whole lot of things became plausible that should not even be on the table. People are actually sayting up at night worrying, is this what the president might be doing? The mere fact that people are sincerely concerned that that might be what the other side does feeds all this further constitutional norm breaking. It feeds all kinds of bad behaviour. More generally, it feeds or willingness to go off and ignore the other side. We really desperately need to figure out a way of of turning down the heat on these things andn backing off. And part of it is certainly to get the bottom of those kind of concerns and actually trying to reveal what's actually the truth here.
