I think the queen was already working the monrchy through this. She was striking in the way that she reached out and acknowledged past difficulties, whether it was in india,. or her extraordinary visit to north to ireland in two thousand and 11. The troubles, because this is the saddest and most tortuous relationship between two countries. And ironically, often families are interconnected, and yet we have had this terrible history. I believe nobody else could have done that her because of the historic troubles us. As not to say there aren't still plenty of difficulties, but i think most brits and most irish would say to you that that was an absolutely transformative moment.
