There's a bipartisan phenomenon where there are people who think that if you, that all you need to do is change the words and you'll change reality. And I have this whole like third of a book written about magic. Words are great for what they're great at, but they're not great at everything. A lot of our problems on the left and right today boil down to this idea of using words as magic to gaslight and shoehorn reality.
