The Different Types of Physical Exams
Barlow and Ordalani exams are rarely positive after three months of age. Galiatsy or Alice test is when there's apparent limb-like discrepancy due to a unilateral dislocated hip. On physical exam in patients greater than three months to a year old, leg length discrepancy predominates.
