The Rise of Remote Work in America
The remote work phenomenon has not been as dominant in cities in Europe and East Asia. HSBC just decided they're going to move their headquarters from Canary Wharf, which is the sort of big 80s office development, several miles from central London. As that downtown office commute disappears and those suburbanites spend more and more time in their homes, I think you are looking at a metro area that's going to become more fragmented and more unequal.
