David Harding, founder of London based capital management's personal fortune of US $1.5 billion is irrefutable proof that systematic trading can work and works spectacularly well. He says his first comment, quote, people are homophobic. There's an unnatural hostility with people insisting that funds are black boxes. If you don't get trend following, it's not because it's a black box. It's because you're lazy continuing yet unlike other masters of the universe, Harding's voice is not ubiquitous in the media. And he couldn't care less about what the Federal Reserve might do next month. As Harding says, let's face it, could you come up with a less interesting story?
