The Complexity of the Economy
The economy is a huge aggregate of individual biology's. I would argue even more complicated than any individual organism. Yet we have this weird notion somehow that we can steer the economy with these mechanical levers, you know, we're still built on this whole mechanical worldview and applying it to the most complex system in the world doesn't work.
