The Benefits of Walking for Depression

Even in nature is therapeutic and healing. Study after study shows, even after walking for half an hour a day, depressed people on medication receive the same benefits from walking than from taking their medication. So important, when you can remove yourself from your regular day to day and put yourself in new situations, you feel like you have more options. And it's actually a little cool where I am in Florida today. We're having a little bit of a cold spell. And I'm just noticing the cold air, even though my body's in pain. I like that I'm able to connect with the air outside.
