David has been training for this moment by doing his dad's will, right? Jesse, send em out to guard the flocks. David did not avoid the battles earlier on so that he was able to rise up in the moment when all israel needed some one who was not just willing, but also able, to face the giant. We realize we don't none of us know the battles that we're gon to have to face in the future. All we know is the task that is at hand.
