Merrick Garland has appointed a special counsel on Friday to oversee justice department investigations into former President Donald Trump. The Republicans can, they've got themselves to thank for continuing this endless cycle of special counsels says Mark O'Mara. Every special counsel with the exception of Mueller, who appears to be somewhat imperative, "just is never a good idea," he adds.
