Most salespeople go in and talk, talk, talk about the wonderful things they're selling. That's not what clients want to hear. They want to know you're there to help solve problems if you possibly can. I actually think you need people who are a combination of intraverts and extraverts. And when you get some one talking, talking, talking about how terrific they are, i don't think that's the person you want representing your company on client calls. It's interesting that we still haven't really found the answer for how we really train people to be other centric,. i suppose to self senteccentric or self centred an in the sale profession.
