I would look at Bitcoin as sort of kind of like DOS or basic, meaning an older programming language. There's not a lot of people that like to do it because it's tedious. And so there was a need after Bitcoin got started to make the concept of blockchain more applicable to broader sets of things. I think Ethereum and some of the other languages and tokens around different blockchains may be simpler to use than Bitcoin.
