Are the Rules About Our Relationships?

When we receive holy communion, we're making a gift of ourselves back to him. That's what hapens in marryd life, where hereis husband and wife who give themselves to each other in the covenant. And then we have this next piece where god then reveals his commandments. God is establishing relationship prior to commandment. If there were commandments without a covenant, it would be rules without a relationship. We need to do everything we can to say yes to the lord when we pray for each other.
