Section two 30 of the communication decency act protects users from libel and intellectual property infringement. The president trump and byden have spoken out in favour of repealing this protection. But Watt says it would be a 'death blow' to social media because they simply could not exist without section two 30. He also argues that courts have vastly overread the extent of protection provided for oation providers.
