66 year old maria estrata was last seen while hiking in the mohave national prese forty miles northwest of needles, california. 22 searchers from the sheriff's department and park service, along with search dogs and an infra red equipped helicopter, searched the entire preserve for six days before finding no trace of her. Maria lived in the philippines and was visiting family in nearby blythe california when she disappeared. She is also believed to have been wearing a gouchee watch and a gold pearl and diamond necklace.
