Cliff-assness has written academic papers and was one of the discoveries of momentum trading in stocks together with a few other academics. He talks a lot about valium momentum but you know guy like jose sorrows will talk in very different terms he will talk about trading on boom bus cycles for instance. AQR is is obviously known for for both types frankly and quite a bit of not only the trading but academic work.
