CSS Variables: How to Implement Themes in Your Systems
The design system is this large umbrella that has all the stuff underneath it. We sort of created a tiered approach. So we have the like global discovery education brand and theme and everything gets that. Then if you're within a specific product, you could have a theme for that product. And that that is effectively just more tokens that are accessible to you on top of the global tokens that we have everywhere. The final bit of that is if within a brand you needed a fancy or special call out of a component that this is a one off, we did go the extra mile and say, okay, well, we have component level tokens too.
