I think a lot of that basic stuff drives it and then, unfortunately, the things that you dive deep into in your career, which I think are so terribly important for us to be thinking about. Why was there a time when actually the liberal ideas came forward, moved forward? There accepted, did reform government policy in that direction and then the big reversal! Fear. It seems like so many of the intellectuals, though, fear-wise, I don't think their condition depends on them maintaining a more collectivist or interventionist view. So why don't they move more in our direction, as it were?
