Austin Evers: There is legitimate frustration in Congress that its oversight tools have atrophy. Mike Stern: If you've got issues where Democrats and Republicans agree on something, they can probably get whatever they want. The agencies actually have less leverage in this administration than in prior administrations,. On the other hand, with things that the president does care about, particularly the things that affect him personally, we're seeing the pushing of the tools of Congress are being pushed to their maximum extent.
