The Origins of the Globe
When Aristotle first suggested it, this was a really radical idea. Some of its contemporaries must have thought it was completely bonkers. It's spread relatively slowly over the next few centuries. But gradually, it became better known in the Roman world. For example, Roman emperor started putting globes on their coins to represent power.
